I have a Mac and I still can't play this game. it won't open. I haven't ben able to play in a long time. how can I get it to play?

i play on mac and i can't get 28 to load

i play on mac. i downloaded 5.2. i go to the inventory and it won't exit inventory. game works as long as i don't check inventory.
